BEST OF LIFE

As a child Contreras remembers meticulously digesting the iconic, black and white photographs of his parents’ Life Magazine special edition Best Of Life compilation book;  Neil Armstrong's landing on the moon,  MLK's assassination,  Salvador Dali's gravity defying photo shoots. Today, his Best of Life series holds a direct connection to those powerful images, with a contemporary take by using current event images that captures today’s galvanizing issues.
